Today my husband and I have been married for ten years!

I got the latest CD by Lady Gaga this weekend.
I just adore that song "Speechless."
My husband and I had a date night Saturday.
We dressed fancy and had a fancy dinner.

My son is in Cub Scouts and they had a Mom & Me campout this weekend. I've never been camping before. I don't think I've ever slept all night outside before. It was a good little trip. We had fun and met some cool people. Except for the difficulty of dragging my lawn cart full of tent, sleeping bags and other suff through the hiking trials to our campsight in the far North of the Camp Edgewood and then back to the van in the morning we really did have a good time. It's been a while since David and I spent time just me and him(he'll be eight on Tuesday), probably since before his little brother was born 4 years ago. We enjoyed hanging out together. And Daddy and Dale had fun at home while we were gone.

Friday night I made a Pumpkin Spice cake and a Beef Stew with root vegetables.
We watched Stephen King's The Dark Half with Bryan.

Saturday night we went to Moss Bluff where Clay's coworker, Byron, had a huge caldron of Jambalaya and drove all the moms and kids on a hay ride through his neigborhood to trick-or-treat.

A good time all around.
